For Bethany...

Evan and Annica have made a fort in the back room out of your PILE of furniture we are storing.

It is intricate with many passages and bedrooms. It is filled with blankets, dolls, and cars.

I am a white person.

Solid swing Al. well done.

From this Winter

I came home one night to a plethora of little kids in my house, luckily for me they just wanted to watch me play video games. And Oliver needed a controller in his lap:)

Alex and I celebrate 6 years of love @ Fredrick Meijer Gardens.

If anyone feels like digging up some tree roots, spray painting them black, and placing candles around them, I will totally get married in front of it. It would make a sweet altar.

It was super humid in here and there were HUGE trees. Very cool exhibit.

This is a butterfly, there were lots of them here, but the prettiest ones were the hardest to photograph.

Ha! I made him do this.

He's a caterpillar!

These were soooo cool! I want these in my house.

This little guy is actually pretty big, and on the other side is all brown and black and mothy. but on This side, it was shiny blue. Bagorgeous.

Never seen birds like this before.

Pictures I stole off of Mom's memory card, because she'll never put them up and I took half of them anyways.

So, contrary to Lois' blog, Ellery isn't a newborn. She is approximately this big.

Thomas is addicted to MarioCart. I didin't even show him, he just taught himself to play. And, in true beginner gamer fashion, he turns his entire body or walks whatever way he want to go in the game:)

Silly

Ethan watches t.v. like a real dude.

Max's face kills me.

Another quality Annica expression.

At the airport, picking up Bethany and T-Thomer.

Ok, they are all addicted and I am proud.

Holland State Park

Alex and I went to the beach this week to watch the sun set. I didn't take good pictures because it was freezing and incredibly windy. But this is what it looked like.
This horribly blury shot shows the frozen shoreline. We walked out a ways til other people's footprints stopped and I became concerned:)

Taken from the pier, this show the Frozen shore drift ends and water full of chunks of ice begins.

Doesn't he look like a tourist here? Makes me laugh.

The part that look like the bottom of this thing is usually at my head level. The pier is one big icy snow drift. Also, Dwight, do you remember holding on to this and saving me from being dragged out by a huge wave? I do, I scrapped my ankle and was mildly hysterical.

Ooo, pretty.

I love the way everything is coated in ice,it looked beautiful!
